Fractures

Program Notes

Fractures was part of a commission from the Maize, Kansas organization Chamber Music At The Barn as part of their Arts A Maize project. With the focus of CMATB around Chamber Music I wanted to create a fanfare that used the whole ensemble but focused on chamber groups within it. The work is through composed but is organized by traditional chamber groups: Woodwind Quintet, Brass Quintet, Saxophone Quartet, and Percussion Ensemble.
